Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable and Processes (m/w/d).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of balance sheet accounts, including general ledger, provisions, and accrual accounts
• Independently review accounts payable for completeness, ensuring transparency and reliability
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in the accounts payable area

Required Qualifications

• Completed commercial training and ideally a qualification as a certified accountant
• Extensive experience in accounts payable, preferably in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good understanding of financial processes, interfaces, and data flows
• Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken
