Job Summary

Supporting corporate accounting functions, the full-time Senior Accountant - AL Licensed will manage project billing processes, handle cash receipt applications, and perform month-end close activities while working in a hybrid environment in Huntsville, AL.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project billing process for assigned contracts, including reviewing transaction reports and submitting bills to customers
• Oversee daily cash receipt applications and monitor cash inflow for timely payments
• Complete recurring and adjusting journal entries and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field
• 3 to 5 years of government contract accounting experience
• Experience with project billing and month-end close
• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint (Unanet, SAP, or GFEBS will be considered)
