Senior Accountant and Advisor

Job Summary

Managing a client portfolio remotely, the full-time Senior Accountant and Advisor will handle bookkeeping to year-end closing, create accurate accounting reports, and supervise team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client accounts, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and year-end closing
• Supervise team members and ensure adherence to accounting processes and procedures
• Identify opportunities for automation and lead initiatives for process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting within an accounting firm
• Strong technical accounting skills, including expertise in financial reporting and P&L analysis
• Experience in financial consolidation processes and intercompany reconciliation
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities to support junior team members
