Senior Accountant - Arizona Licensed

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Accountant - Arizona Licensed will manage balance sheet and bank reconciliations, oversee month-end close processes, and prepare financial reports for state regulators while collaborating with external auditors and finance counterparts.

Key responsibilities

• Compute and post complex transactions into financial systems and prepare detailed financial reconciliations and analyses
• Research and correct errors in the general ledger while interfacing with management for accurate financial data gathering and interpretation
• Prepare timely reports and presentations for state and federal agencies, management, and auditors to meet mandated reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare finance with demonstrated abilities in financial statement preparation and analysis
• Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills
• Proficiency in computer applications and office desktop software
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects
