Senior Accountant, Broker Dealer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Derivatives & Broker Dealer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support timely submission of all required reporting to regulatory agencies
• Drive preparation of monthly financial statements and support monthly accounting close activities
• Monitor daily liquidity and capital requirements while supporting internal and external audits

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA required
• Big 4 accounting experience
• Experience in FCM and/or broker dealer accounting
• Familiarity with relevant broker dealer rules and regulations
• Knowledge of accounting guidance related to Derivatives and Hedging (ASC 815)
