Senior Accountant, California Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, General Ledger.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and inter-company reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures related to clinical trials
• Act as a liaison with external auditors and mentor junior accountants on complex accounting issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 5+ years of related accounting experience with progressively greater responsibilities required
• In-depth understanding and application of GAAP required
• Experience with financial data analysis and preparation of financial reports required
• Experience with Clinical Trial accounting is a plus
