Senior Accountant, Captive Insurance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate, Finance & Accounting Outsourcing in the Captive Insurance Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare day-to-day and month-end accounting support, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and prepare financial reporting packages
• Support regulatory filings and compliance requirements for captive insurance entities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in insurance or captive insurance
• Experience with automated accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting principles
• CPA license preferred, but not required
