Senior Accountant - COGS

Job Summary

To support the Accounting and Finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant - COGS will manage the recording of Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory, oversee month-end close operations, and lead system integrations, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month-end close accounting operations for eye care entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with healthcare accounting standards
• Lead and execute the PODIS-to-SAP migration project, including data mapping and user acceptance testing
• Prepare variance analysis of COGS to Revenue, collaborating closely with Operations and FP&A teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, preferably in multi-site healthcare businesses or Ambulatory Surgery Centers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software; experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus
• CPA certification is a plus
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including general understanding of HIPAA guidelines
