Senior Accountant - Construction
Job Summary
Overseeing project and general ledger records, the full-time Senior Accountant - Construction will manage cost monitoring, revenue recognition, and financial analysis while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze Work In Progress (WIP) schedules and certified payroll reports
- Track and monitor active projects, providing monthly financial data and ensuring accurate billing
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support audit requests with necessary documentation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of accounting experience, with at least one year in a large company or Native Corporation
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to construction and revenue recognition
- Ability to pass drug, background, reference, and credit checks
