Senior Accountant Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant Consultant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide extensive accounting support, including month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Facilitate regular client communication and build strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Lead month-end close for multiple engagements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and DCAA regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years in full life cycle accounting in a GovCon environment
• Must be a US Citizen
• Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of FASB and GAAP
• Experience in multiple GovCon accounting systems, with proficiency in Unanet preferred
