Senior Accountant Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant Consultant to provide accounting support for government contracting clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide extensive accounting support, including month-end close processes and reconciliations
• Facilitate regular client communication and lead status calls while building strong client relationships
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with clients to implement best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Must be a US Citizen
• Minimum of 3+ years in full life cycle accounting in a GovCon environment
• Working knowledge of FASB and GAAP, along with familiarity with CAS, FAR, and DCAA compliance
• Experience in multiple GovCon accounting systems is a plus, with proficiency in Unanet preferred
