Senior Accountant Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant Consultant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide extensive accounting support including month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Facilitate regular client communication and build strong relationships to understand business needs
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with clients to streamline workflows

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years in full life cycle accounting in a GovCon environment
• Must be a US Citizen
• Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of FASB, GAAP, CAS, FAR, and DCAA compliance
• Experience in multiple GovCon accounting systems, with proficiency in Unanet preferred
