Senior Accountant, CPA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Investment Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting workflows for investment management entities and related securitizations, including day-to-day accounting activities and monthly/quarterly close activities
• Prepare internal tracking and compliance schedules related to asset management and securitization activities
• Plan and implement the insourcing of processes currently performed through a third-party fund administrator

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Active CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience at a top-tier financial institution or accounting firm
• At least 2+ years of experience with loan/debt accounting and fund accounting
• Demonstrated expertise in GAAP for loan portfolios and financial reporting
