Senior Accountant, CPA Preferred

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant- Technical & Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end financial statement close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare year-end financial statements, including footnotes and disclosures, and act as a liaison with external auditors
• Identify and implement process improvements and assist with technical accounting research and special projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 4-5 years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
