Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred)

Job Summary

To support a dynamic financial services client, the full-time Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred) will manage the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, ensuring compliance with U.S. standards and delivering financial insights, all while working remotely within the North American Timezone.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting for U.S. clients
• Applying startup accounting principles to balance best practices with resource constraints and evolving priorities
• Integrating and optimizing external applications with QuickBooks Online to streamline accounting operations

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies (CPA certification preferred)
• Proven success managing external stakeholders, ideally from a public accounting or client-facing environment
• Strong knowledge of startup accounting practices and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Experience integrating external applications with QuickBooks Online
• Full professional fluency in English, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
