Senior Accountant CPA Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee and ensure the integrity of its accounting information.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute all accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate records
• Prepare and review financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Assist in budget development, financial reporting, and support the annual audit process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Five years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience with federal awards management and compliance
