Senior Accountant FERC Reporting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Venture Reporting- Limited Term Employee.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle accounting close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks
• Manage supporting schedules and workpapers, ensuring relevant account reconciliations and job cost reports are completed accurately
• Review and research deliverables, assist in preparing financial statements, and oversee compliance with FERC regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting department or public accounting, with a focus on FERC reporting in the energy industry
• In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements
• Experience with SAP and BI/BW preferred
• Extensive experience with integrated accounting software and Microsoft Excel
