Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings including forms 10Q, 10K, 8K, and 11K
• Prepare work papers to support SEC filings and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
• Conduct annual assessments of impairment of goodwill and other intangible assets, and handle ad hoc projects related to SEC and FASB standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-4+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in the Big 4
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls/SOX requirements
• Experience in researching accounting literature
• Ability to work collaboratively within teams and across business units
