Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting
Job Summary
To support the Corporate Finance Department, the full-time Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting will assist in the preparation of SEC filings, prepare work papers, and ensure compliance with internal controls while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings, including forms 10Q, 10K, 8K, and 11K
- Prepare clear and concise work papers to support SEC filings
- Support internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with ICFR and manage ad hoc projects related to SEC and FASB standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-4+ years of experience, including 2+ years in the Big 4
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls/SOX requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across different business units and functions
- Experience in researching accounting literature
