Senior Accountant II

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the fully remote Senior Accountant II will manage accounting and reporting for payroll, employee benefits, and contracted medical provider payments, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies while supporting the monthly close process.

Key responsibilities:

• Account for bi-weekly payroll and prepare monthly payroll and bonus accruals
• Process payments for Primary Care and Urgent Care doctors, including annual 1099 preparation
• Review general ledger reconciliations and update monthly metrics for Board reporting

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience in public and corporate environments
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
