Senior Accountant II

Job Summary

Responsible for advanced accounting and reporting activities, the full-time remote Senior Accountant II will manage the monthly close process, perform complex analyses, and review the work of entry-level staff while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback on the work of entry-level staff members to improve processes
• Perform advanced accounting tasks to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Assist in the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and monitoring sub-ledger interfaces

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-10 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting, or experience with a Big 4 CPA firm
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and compliance with SOX requirements
• Experience with financial reporting and variance analyses
• Familiarity with automation tools, particularly BlackLine
