Senior Accountant - Inventory
Job Summary
Owning inventory and COGS accounting in NetSuite, the remote Senior Accountant - Inventory will manage monthly inventory rollforwards, reconcile physical inventory counts, and prepare key journal entries while collaborating with operations and finance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inventory accounting and COGS in NetSuite across various channels
- Lead monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in inventory records
- Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory and COGS, supporting month-end close activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on inventory or cost accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred
- Experience with imported inventory and landed cost accounting is strongly preferred
