Senior Accountant, Inventory Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the offshore inventory accounting team, the full-time Senior Accountant, Inventory Accounting will ensure accurate and timely execution of reconciliations, transaction processing, and compliance with US GAAP while supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the offshore inventory accounting team to maintain accuracy and timeliness in accounting activities
• Oversee the quality and completeness of offshore results, providing guidance and coaching to enhance consistency and accountability
• Support audit activities by ensuring documentation and analyses are complete, accurate, and ready for review

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of inventory accounting experience, including valuation and reconciliation
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (ASC 330) and SOX controls
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA and JD Edwards
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets; PowerBI development experience is a plus
