Senior Accountant - Inventory Management

Job Summary

To support the Accounting and Finance team, the full-time Senior Accountant - Inventory Management will manage Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory for various eye care entities, oversee month-end close operations, and lead the PODIS-to-SAP migration project, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month-end close accounting operations ensuring accurate financial reporting for ophthalmology clinics and ambulatory surgery centers
• Serve as the primary accountant for inventory reporting, managing logs for drug orders and dispensing
• Drive User Acceptance Testing for PODIS to SAP integrations, validating data accuracy and transaction flows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, preferably in multi-site healthcare businesses
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software; experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus
• CPA certification is a plus
• Understanding of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
