Job Summary

Managing general ledger activities, the full-time Senior Accountant, Maryland Licensed will prepare and analyze financial transactions, ensure compliance with GAAP, and provide financial insights while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and present insights to management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and support business decisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field (Required)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (Required)
• Master's Degree or CPA (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Accounting & GAAP
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
