Senior Accountant, Nonprofit CPA

Job Summary

Supporting a 100% remote work arrangement, the full-time Senior Accountant, Nonprofit CPA will manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for nonprofit clients, assist with complex general ledgers, and prepare monthly reporting packages while fostering deep client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting accuracy and assist with complex general ledgers for assigned clients
• Prepare and review monthly reporting packages, including KPIs/metrics, and facilitate month-end close processes
• Coordinate project tasks to ensure efficient client workflow and maintain the client procedure manual

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, focusing on financial reporting and general ledger management
• Experience with nonprofit federal grant processing and reporting required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
