Senior Accountant - Ohio Licensed

Job Summary

Supporting the accounting and financial operations of a growing renewable energy portfolio, the full-time Senior Accountant - Ohio Licensed will manage financial reporting, project accounting, and transaction processing in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Account for capital expenditures related to renewable energy projects and track project costs throughout various phases
• Process journal entries and assist with accounts payable and receivable activities while monitoring cash flow

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with familiarity in project and fixed asset accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems
• CPA certification or progress toward it is preferred
• Construction accounting experience is a plus
