Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate II.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for a portfolio of 4 to 6 commercial properties, ensuring timely and compliant financial statements
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including journal entries and variance analyses, to provide clients with insights into property performance
• Serve as the primary accounting resource for on-site property teams, coordinating procedures and ensuring effective communication across departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of hands-on Real Estate Accounting experience with expertise in property-level financial operations
• Strong knowledge of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) accounting principles and FASB 13 lease accounting standards
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis functions
• Experience with real estate-specific accounting software platforms such as MRI or Yardi
