Senior Accountant - Provider Compensation
Job Summary
To support a large multi-state physician practice network, the full-time Senior Accountant - Provider Compensation will manage the accurate calculation, analysis, and reporting of provider compensation while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Calculate monthly provider compensation and prepare related journal entries and accruals
- Analyze compensation trends and prepare monthly reporting packages with variance analyses
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for provider compensation inquiries and maintain comprehensive documentation for audits
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
- Experience preparing complex accruals, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and healthcare accounting experience
