Senior Accountant, Reinsurance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Reinsurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of regulatory reporting, financial statements, and related information for GAAP and STAT accounting
• Research variances, review analytics, and complete reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Interact with various stakeholders to carry out financial reporting responsibilities and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting or finance
• 5 or more years of experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Insurance experience preferred
• Knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting practices/procedures
• Highly proficient in Excel and ability to learn other systems quickly
