Senior Accountant - Remote

Job Summary

Managing full-cycle accounting operations, the full-time Senior Accountant - Remote will ensure the accuracy of financial records and reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP, overseeing accounts payable, payroll, and month-end close processes while collaborating with global finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and cash disbursements
• Oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting to support leadership decision-making
• Compile documentation for internal reviews and audits while maintaining internal control policies and assisting in the budgeting process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including 2 years in month-end close and payroll management
• Proficiency in SAGE Intacct and Google Sheets; experience with payroll applications like Insperity is preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
