Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical accounting research and prepare formal position papers on GAAP guidance
• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
• Support month-end accounting tasks, including journal entries and financial reporting

Required Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of technical accounting experience
• Detailed understanding of US GAAP accounting
• Experience with technical accounting memo writing and ASC 842 Lease Accounting
• Public Accounting experience preferred, particularly in transaction services or audit
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred
