Senior Accountant (UK Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting, tax, and compliance for UK operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and manage payroll and sales commissions
• Handle statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and maintain internal controls for audit readiness

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in accounting, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based businesses
• Strong technical knowledge of UK and US GAAP, with familiarity in UK accounting and tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with revenue recognition, payroll, audits, and statutory reporting
• Experience managing or mentoring team members and building scalable processes
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
