Senior Accountant US

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Manager in daily finance operations and accounting functions
• Compile data for financial reports and statements
• Collaborate with departments on projects related to finance department optimization

Required Qualifications:

• Significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable or grantmaking organization
• Strong financial management acumen and knowledge of accounting procedures and protocols
• Experience with nonprofit accounting standards and US GAAP
• Knowledge of annual audits and IRS 990 process
• Higher education in Finance or Accounting preferred, CPA or CMA and active CPA license preferred
