Senior Accountant - U.S. Licensed

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Senior Accountant - U.S. Licensed will support the accounting and financial reporting operations for North American AML services remotely, focusing on monthly close processes, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Assist in the design and maintenance of internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with internal teams on various accounting and finance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and large-volume data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and understand the impact of accounting transactions
