Senior Accountant with CPA License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant/Team Lead to manage client accounting relationships and lead a team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, overseeing their career development and performance management
• Execute the monthly close process, manage revenue cycles, and maintain internal controls and compliance documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's in Accounting and/or CPA license preferred
• 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager and 2+ years of audit experience in a CPA firm
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online; familiarity with Xero, Intacct, and NetSuite is a plus
• Proven ability to revamp accounting processes and technology
• Deep knowledge of complex revenue recognition and payroll processes
