Senior Accountant with CPA License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant/Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals while managing client compliance and internal controls
• Execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and management reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's in Accounting and/or CPA license preferred
• 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, with at least 2 years of audit experience in a CPA firm
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online; knowledge of Xero, Intacct, and NetSuite is a plus
• Proven ability to revamp accounting processes and technology
• Deep knowledge of complex payroll and revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606)
