Senior Accountant with State License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - STAT.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements using Excel, Power BI, and Oracle automation tools
• Exhibit expert proficiency in reporting and analytical tools to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Prepare weekly and monthly account reconciliations and certifications in accordance with statutory model audit rules

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in statutory accounting, finance, or a related role
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with local tax laws, regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
