Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and complete close related tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance commentary
• Manage GAAP and Statutory accounting and reporting, including preparation of regulated filings
• Support and manage external audits and lead various ad hoc accounting projects

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or similar training
• Prior experience in finance, accounting, or insurance is a plus
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data in various formats
• Understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements
• Highly motivated, inquisitive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
