Senior Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant - Special Projects - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain knowledge of accounting systems and document key processes and data flows
• Collaborate with Finance teams on regulatory programs, product launches, and system implementations
• Integrate or segregate accounting teams from mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures into financial reporting systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Financial Data Analysis/Accounting Systems
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and GAAP
• Experience with large volume data analysis and proficiency in Excel
• Beginner level SQL or SAS coding experience
