Senior Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing Advisory Department, the full-time Senior Accounting Consultant will plan and supervise engagements, review financial statements for accuracy, and interact with key client management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise assigned engagements while acquiring a working knowledge of the client's business
• Review financial statements and workpapers for accuracy and completeness, including note disclosures
• Perform periodic internal audits and interact with key client management to resolve issues and recommend improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
• Three to four years of experience as a senior accountant, preferably in a BPO practice or with an external accounting service provider
• Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Strong project management skills and the ability to supervise multiple engagements simultaneously
• Highly motivated self-starter dedicated to superior client service
