Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the monthly closing process, including various accounting transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including statutory filings
- Lead and participate in strategic financial projects and process improvements
Required Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of relevant accounting and/or finance experience, property and casualty insurance accounting exposure is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA, MBA, or Master of Accountancy preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, accounting research, and data analysis tools
- Experience in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
- Strong relationships with auditors and third-party vendors
