Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to lead their accounting function and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely completion
• Oversee revenue recognition for new contracts in accordance with ASC606 guidance
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods per US GAAP and manage compliance with various tax obligations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an accounting manager in both private and public companies, preferably in the energy/renewables sector
• Experience managing small teams and working with outsourced teams
• Big 4 or tier II audit firm experience, or a CPA/CPA equivalent designation if lacking Big 4 experience
• BS degree in finance or accounting
• Ability to work with large data sets in Excel and utilize advanced Excel functions
