Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review the global monthly close and consolidation process, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Develop and implement accounting best practices while improving internal controls and financial quality
• Mentor an accounting team and manage relationships with local advisory teams on compliance audits

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressively advancing experience in a global organization
• 5+ years of management experience
• Experience with consolidation and intercompany transactions, including foreign currency revaluation
• Sound knowledge of US GAAP; knowledge of European accounting rules is a plus
• BA/BS and/or master's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
