Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Accounting Manager, MIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Maintain data integrity and evaluate process efficiencies through automation and controls
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly desirable
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and insurance accounting principles
• Experience in the Medicare or health insurance industry is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel
