Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing the US accounting function end-to-end, the full-time remote Senior Accounting Manager will oversee month-end close, payroll processing, and sales tax compliance while collaborating with global finance teams to drive operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full month-end close process for US & Canadian entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US & Canadian employees, including compliance with multi-state regulations
• Lead the US side of the annual audit and act as the primary contact for external tax preparers regarding corporate tax matters

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in the SaaS industry
• CPA certification is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition as applied to SaaS contracts
• Hands-on experience with US multi-state sales tax compliance and familiarity with modern finance tools
• Demonstrated interest in utilizing AI tools to improve finance workflows
