Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading the company's operational accounting in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Accounting Manager will manage the month-end close process, oversee financial statement preparation, and mentor the internal accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
• 5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with NetSuite, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and strong Excel skills
• Proven ability to streamline and improve accounting processes and systems
