Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will own the entire accounting function, manage financial reporting, lead complex revenue recognition under ASC 606, and oversee payroll and operational management while mentoring a small team of accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring accurate financial statements under US GAAP
• Lead revenue recognition processes for subscription and usage-based models and conduct technical accounting research
• Run bi-weekly payroll and manage accounts payable, expense management, and AR/collections to optimize cash flow

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Hands-on expertise in NetSuite and payroll processing in ADP or a comparable platform
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606, particularly for SaaS revenue
• Active CPA preferred; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a player-coach mindset
