Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager, the remote contract position will own the entire accounting function, manage financial reporting and compliance, and lead a small team while ensuring technical accounting adherence to ASC 606.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close, ensuring accurate financial statements under US GAAP
• Lead complex revenue recognition processes under ASC 606 and serve as the internal expert for technical accounting research
• Run bi-weekly payroll and oversee accounts payable, expense management, and AR/collections to optimize cash flow

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite and payroll processing in ADP or a comparable platform
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606, particularly for SaaS revenue models
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a player-coach mindset
