Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Manager, this full-time remote position will own the entire accounting function, manage a small team, and ensure compliance with technical accounting standards while overseeing financial reporting, payroll, and operational management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements under US GAAP
• Lead complex revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and usage-based models, and serve as the internal expert for technical accounting research
• Run bi-weekly payroll, oversee accounts payable and expense management, and coordinate annual audits while maintaining internal controls and accounting policies

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite and payroll processing in ADP or a comparable platform
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606, with the ability to conduct technical accounting research
• Active CPA preferred; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
